TalkleEARLY ACCESS · SEPTEMBER 2026
Your conversation is personal.
Optional analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to measure page visits, sign-ups, queue entries, completed conversations and checkout starts. We do not send names, email addresses, account IDs, payment IDs, video, audio, captions or feedback to Analytics. We remove URL query strings and referrer details and use a fixed invitation-source label. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. Google receives technical browser and network information; this is usage analytics, not a claim of complete anonymity. Analytics cookies expire after 90 days. Declining has no effect on matching or other features. You can change your choice below or from the app footer. We respect Global Privacy Control.
Connection country and mutual connections
We use Cloudflare's approximate country code for your connection, not your nationality. We show its flag and country name to your conversation partner and use it when a Plus member chooses up to five connection-country filters. VPNs and mobile networks can make this estimate wrong; unknown countries are not guessed. We do not save raw IP addresses in your profile or match records for this feature. Meet again choices are private until both participants agree. Mutual connections can see your display name, approximate country and whether you have been active within about 45 seconds. They cannot see your email, contact details or private feedback. You can remove or block a connection for free. Connection records expire after a year without a new choice or call request; invitation records expire after a day, and invitations themselves stop after one minute.
Who runs Talkle
Talkle is operated by Andrew as a separate sole proprietorship. Make A Circle is a separate business and does not operate Talkle. Contact [email protected] for access, correction or deletion requests. This is an early-access service.
What you agree to
Before you join the queue, you explicitly agree to live audio transcription by Daily and its transcription processor (Deepgram), automated image safety checks, and AI language feedback. Both participants must accept the same current consent before matching. These are required for this version of Talkle; declining means you do not enter a call. Leave at any time to stop.
No meeting recordings
Talkle does not start or store audio/video recordings. Live captions are visible to both participants while connected. Your own captured speech stays in browser memory and is sent to our server and Google Gemini for private language feedback when the conversation ends, or after you link and verify a guest account. Guests who do not create an account do not receive saved feedback. We do not upload the other person’s transcript for your feedback. Raw speech transcripts are not saved in our database. Closing or refreshing the page discards the in-memory transcript.
Video safety processing
Small still frames from your camera are sent to Google Cloud Vision for periodic safety checks. Frames are not stored by the Talkle application or attached to reports. On-device checks also inspect the incoming stream before initial reveal and periodically during the call. These checks are imperfect. Report text is user-entered; do not include sensitive personal information.
Data and retention
Firebase stores temporary anonymous guest IDs or verified email for permanent accounts, display name, chosen language/level, consent timestamps, matches, blocks and safety reports. Guest IDs are not anonymous to our systems; they are used to enforce a one-match guest allowance and handle reports. To limit repeated guest matches from one connection, we may keep a keyed daily hash of the connection IP for up to three days; we do not store the raw IP in this counter. Private feedback is scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days and can be deleted immediately in My phrases. Match metadata and safety reports are scheduled for deletion after 90 days; automated deletion can take roughly another day. Account and block records remain until account deletion. No advertising trackers are installed. Infrastructure and subprocessors can process information outside your country, including South Korea and the United States.
Payment and acquisition information
Optional payments use PayPal; Talkle does not receive or store your card number. We keep order and payment identifiers, amount, currency, status and extra-talk balance for fulfillment, refunds and applicable accounting obligations. A short invitation-source label, such as friend or Threads, may be saved when your profile is first created. Operator reports use account and conversation metadata, not call content, to compare activation and connection delays. No cross-site advertising trackers are added.
Private feedback and your choices
Your partner cannot read your saved feedback. Authorized administrators can technically access stored data for security and support; we do not call this end-to-end encrypted. AI feedback can be wrong and is not an exam or a proficiency score. Old Talkle financial and account records remain separately backed up to preserve contractual and accounting obligations. Deletion requests may be subject to necessary legal retention and backup expiry; we will explain exceptions.
